CROQUET TOURNEY.
The croquet lawns were well attended on Thursday, April 1, for the croquet tournament. Amongst those present were: Mesdames R. H. White, A. Moon, Bowie, D. White, A. Dickinson, G. Knight. A. H. Hillock, C. Masters, Gatton, J. Childs, Healy, Blick, R. F. Harkness, A. Alger, Gower (Eltham), Clare (Eltham), Mcßae, Jenkins, Burgees, Bamford, Ashton (Inglewood), H. T. Cooper, O. Curtis, D. Butchart, Vinsen, H. Summerfield, Clarke, Rogers, Weston, Lampshire, Bryce, Galbraith. Blick, Cook, J. Allen, Miss Thompson. The visitors were entertained by the ladies of the different committees. The tournament was finished in heavy rain on Friday.
