CHILD DROWNED.
Press Association—Copyright, Christchurch, April 1. Colin Leslie James Aitken, aged two years and two months, son of Mr and Mrs L. C. P. Aitken,. Waikuku Beach, was found drowned in a lagoon at the bench about noon today. At the inquest the Coroner, Mr. H. A Young, returned, a verd.ict that the thlld .had been accidentally drowned. Constable J p. Simmonds said that he had examined the- bank of the •'agoon and had found marks indicating that, the Child had slipped down a three-foot bank into the witer.
