Staffing at Auckland. Press Association—Copyright. Auckland, April 1. The recent appointment by ballot of senior and assistant honorary surgeons to the Auckland hospital will be revived for the further consideration of the membert' of the board at a special meeting on Tuesday night, when it is expected a motion will be tabled with the object of qulishing the procedure that was adopted in selecting the staff. Some exception is taken to the fact that four members of the board were absent v.'hen the surgeons were chosen, but the chief aim of the motion will be to endeavour to modify the machinery regulating appointments with the object of protecting applicants who in the past had given conspicuous service to the hospial.
