Tasmanian Government Action. Press Association —Copyright. Hobart, April 1. The Tasmanian Government is planning the appointment of Government medical practitioners in outlying districts, where patients may be treated free by doctors having the status of a civil servant. The Premier, Mr A. G. Ogilvie, is convinced that persons in isolated areas defer visits to centres where medical attention is available or refrain from calling a doctor because of the expense.
