HITLER AND LUDENDORFF “GERMANY’S INTEREST” Reconciliation Follows Secret Meeting. < Press Association —Copyright. London, March 30. The long-standing quarrel betwteen Herr Hitler and General Dudendorff has been. composed. Despite their ?ssocilation in Heir Hitler's abortive putsch in 1923, and their later trial together for high treason, they became bitter enemies.

It is officially announced that in the interests of the German people the grievances have now been removed. General Ludendorff expressed satisfaction at Herr Hitler’s attitude to the Versailles Treaty, especially his restoring full German sovereignity in the Rhine. Herr Hitler welcomes personal contact (between General Ludendorff, the Third Reich and the army. General Ludendorff's publication wias confiscated in January for denunciation of the German policy in Spain, which he said, was only an advantage to Italy. It is now suggested that General Ludendorff may be given an important position in the Reichswehr. The Daily Telegraph's Munich correspondent says that Herr Hitler and General Ludendorff met secretly on Tuesday at the village of Tut zig, 30 miles from Munich, 'Where General Ludendorff has been living since his retirement, and to which Herr Hitler specially motored for their first talk since 1924.

The real purpose of the meeting was not revealed, but it is generally assumed the Spanish situation prompted Herr Hitler to seek advice from Germainy's most experienced armj commander.

It is believed he persuaded General Ludendorff to leave< retirement and accept an active post in the German War Ministry.
