Galloway (Ran-giora) won the Canterbury provincial amateur golf championship to-day, starting out on the last round with brie stroke advan tage over C. J. Ward and level With R. <G. -Arnould. -{Halloway.. increased his lead by a further stroke from Ward, and ae ArnouM crashed badly the Rangiora man won the event by two strokes. Galloway’s win was the result of consistent golf.
