Mrs. Putnam’s New Venture in April. Press Association — Copyright. San Pedro, March 26. Mrs. Amelia Earhart Putnam, whose plane crashed recently at Honolulu, arrived here to-day. She will re-attempt her world flight late in April. Her plane will arrive on a ship on April 3 for repairs. “I still believe my plane to be one ot the best in existence,” she laid, ‘but we overloaded it. I am grateful that we escaped injury. We might have to make changes in the route, as a month’s delay may result in unfavourable atmospheric conditions in the South Seas.”
