RISE IN CROSSBREDS.

Third Dunedin Wool Sale. Press Association—Copyright. Dunedin, March 23. The third wool tale for .the season was held to-day when, approximately 30,700 bales were offered. The wool opened up in excellent condition, crossbreds particularly, which comprised; about halt of the offering, being the best seen at Dunedin for some seasons’. In sympathy with recent sales in other centres the demand was well its distributed among all sections of the trade, Bradford, the Continent, America and Japan competing freely. Compared with the last Dunedin sale crossbreds showed a sensational rise, which on the average must be fully 2d to 3d per lb., and prices were the highest teen for many years.
