Scholarships Awarded. Press Association—Copyright Wellington, March 24. Four scholarships in veterinary science have been awarded this year by the New Zealand Government, and three of the students selected have already left for Australia to commence their studies at the Sydney University veterinary college. The other student intends to take a course at the Royal (Dick) Veterinary College, Edinburgh. The holders of scholarships taking the veterinary course at Sydney are Mr. lan G. Watt, Ms.C., Upper Hutt; Mr. George Allan Thomson, Dunedin; and Mr. D. W. Newman, Broadwood, Hokianga. The fourth student, Mr. lan M. Brown, will leave New Zealand for Edinburgh in time to commence the course in October next.
