ASSASSINATION PLOT BELIEVED
THROWING KNIFE AND MAP OF CORONATION ROUTE SCOTLAND YARD DISCOVERY IN LONDON HOUSE

The “Sunday Referee” says that a suspected plot to assassinate King George on Coronation Day is believed to have been discovered by Scotland Yard officers who raided a house in a London suburb. The officers found a throwing knifie and a map of the route wrapped up together, besides a number of letters and notes and over 100 newspaper cuttings, detailing the procession, the position of the Royal carriage, and the times of passing of various points. A man is under examination, and his recent movements are being traced.
