Wellington, To-day, An intense anti-cyclone is still centred to the east, but pressure is now falling under the influence of a depression advancing slowly across the Tasman Sea. The forecast is for moderate northeast to northerly winds, gradually freshening. The weather will be fine, though cloudy, at first, with warm temperatures but becoming unsettled shortly, with rain developing. Seas slight to moderate, but later rising.
