Sir Henry Gullett’s Resignation. Press Association—Copyright. (Received 11.20 a.tn.) Canberra, March 11. Ministers to-day refused to comment on the resignation of Sir Henry Gullett, Minister in charge of Tjiade Treaties,, faying. that they were sworn to secrecy It is learned authoratativ''ly, however, that the trouble arose over Sir Henry making a recommendation to Cabinet that further efforts'to negotiate with Canada for a revised trade treaty would be abandoned, but Cabinet refused to accept the recommendation. Sir Henry Gullett's resignation came with dramatic suddenness. Mr J. Ah Lyons. Prime Minister stated that no additional appointment to the Cabinet would be made, but the trade treaty negotiations wimF be carried on by n. sub-cOTiT iftoo w which the Attorney-General wpnV’ b chairman, and th Minister of C"f merce and Minister of Custom ffi bers.
