GANGSTER METHODS.
Strike of Irish Scholars.
Press Association—Copyright. (Received 12.50 p.m.) London, March 10. Gangster methods have entered into the school strike at Achill Island, in Ireland. The strike was due to the teacher's refusal to prepare meals. Parents and children lie in ambush snd rush the school in an attempt to capture the teachers. Four of the teachers have left the Island, fearing the result of the attacks, despite the fact that police protection has ’ been increased. So far, nine teachers and parents have been injured, and the Schoolhouse considerably damaged.
