Centre Representatives For Auckland. A team of 15 will represent the West Coast (North Island) Centre at the national athletic championships at Auckland next Friday and Saturday. Taranaki athletes included are S. A'. Lay (Stratford), F. S. Barraclough (Opuuake), A. J. Mather (Taumaruuui) and Misses N. Smith and B. Hosie (Hawera) and D. Hodgson (New Plymouth). The team is: Pole vault: F. S. Rarraclough. 120 yards hurdles, 220 yards hurdles and high jump: A. J. Maher. Hop, step and jump and broad jump: A. B. Campbell (Waverley). Miscus throw:..J, D. Morgan. (Wanganui). Putting the shot: S. I. Nolan (Wanganui). Throwing the javelin: S. A. Lay. 220 yards and 440 yards flat: L. B. Burgess (Wanganui). 880 yards and one mile: C. V. Evans (Taihape). 190 yards women’s: Mistes B. MeNie (Wanganui), A. Shields (Marton), N. Smith and B. Hosie (Hawera). 90 yards women’s hurdles: Miss. l D. Hodgson (New Plymouth).
