COLLISION WITH POLE.
Accident at Opunake Road Corner. Misjudging the corner at the Opunake road, Broad a Jay, shortly before 8 o’clock last night, a car driven by Mr. W. F. Barker, Mahoe, crashed into a power-line pole and was damaged extensively in the front mudguards and radiator. Mrs. Barker, who was a passenger in the car, rec hived a slight temple wound and was attended by Dr. W. Brown at the Stratford Hospital. Mr Barker was unhurt.
