LEAGUE CYCLING.

Stratford Clubs Open for Year. Arrangements for the first of a series of v.’eekly meetings, which will be held at Victoria Park on Thursday evening, were made by the commitf.eie ■of the 46tra.t|ford League Cycling Club last night. The meetings, which will be arranged to give practice over different distances on each occasion, are planned to give the riders an opportunity to get into training for the road work and for the meetings which are being held in the near future at Pukengahu, Midhirst, Waitara, Otorohanga, Te Kuiti and Ohanga. At Thursday night’s meeting the distances will be the half mile and two miles.
