The political writer of the Associated Press says that the entry of the Australian High Commissioner and ex-Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Stanley M. Bruce, into English politics, is a distinct possibility. Several influential persons behind the scenes, besides City interests, want him on the front bench of the House of Commons, while some, whose authority counts, would like him in Sir Thomas Inskip’s place as Minister for the Coordination of Defence.
