SATURDAY’S PLAY. Stratford A Defeated By Douglas. I The defeat of Stratford A by Douglas ■ was the feature of the Petrie Shield tennis matches on Saturday. Both being .previously undefeated, this, puts Douglas two points ahead of Stratford A. The next team are as present two points behind Strati ford A, but have played one match | less. Results are: Douglas beat Stratford A. Methodist A beat Methodist B. Cardiff beat Radnor Road. Stratford B beat Ngaere. Cardiff v. Radnor. Cardiff defeated Radnor by 13 matches to three.
