Joe Louis knocked out Natie Brown in the fourth round of the scheduled ten-round bout. There Was a wild finish similar to that in a wrestling bout with the referee, Mr. Bates, als floored while the crowd of 14,000 roared. Louis. 1 methodically sent rights and lefts to Brown’s face in the first 40 seconds of the fourth round until : hard right dropped Brown, who wadazed and in a sitting position. Attempting to raise himself to his feet Brow to. clutched Mr, Bates’ leg an pulled the latter down to the floor. Mr. Bates rose and awarded th: fight to Louis on a technical knockout but the official timekeeper informed* him that he had completed the count while Bates v was down, so that the referee changed his decision and ere dited Louis with a knock-out. The promoter, Joe Foley, announced at Chicago that arrangements had been completed for the Louis-Brad-dock title bout at Comiskey* Park instead of Soldiers’ Field on' June 22 owing to a demand for 25 per eent. of the gate. Louie and Braddock are scheduled to appear during the day for the formal contract-signing cere mony.
