PEMBROKE FAREWELL.

There was a large attendance at the Pembroke Hall on Wednesday .evening, when a farewell was tendered Mrs Tomlyn, who is leaving shortly for England. Dance music was supplied by Mrs Simpson and Messrs Simpson and Mills. Mr E. Hunt was M.C. Social items were given by Miss E. Gadsby and Mr R. Richards (songs), Misses D. Winmill and T. Barker (dances), and Mr Simpson (musical monologue). Euchre prizes were won by Mrs Aagaard, Mrs E. Hunt, Mr H. Han, and Mr T. Allsup. A Monte Carlo was won by Miss P. Kelly and Mr B. Ross. After supper Mr ,H. Hancock, On behalf of the Pembroke branch of the W.D.F.U., presented Mrs Tomlyn with a deck chair and wished her bon voyage an enoyable time while in England. Mrs Tomlyn suitably replied. Among those present: Mesdames Tomlyn, Hancock, Kemsley, E. Hunt, Ashcroft, Allsup, Aagaard, M. Mills, McNeil, W. McCracken, Hann, H. A. Hunt, R. Lloyd, Marfell, C. Walker, Bayly, J. Richards, Roberts, Winmill, S. Carley; the Misses V. Stallard, J. Fayne, E. Harris, J. Bonner, D. Byron, Z. Aagaard, D. Winmill, T. Barker, N. Belcher, M. Kemsley, M. McNeil, P. Kelly, E. Sheehan, E. Gadsby, D. Richards, B. Dow, C. Raynor, U. and N. Mills, B. Winmill, M. Payne, Archibald.
