Not One Of Aggression In
North China.

In the Upper House, Baron Sakatan, asking the Premier to state the Government’s policy in North China, pointed out that Australian and Japanese relations had much benefited from Mr Arfta’s declaration in the former Diet that Japan’s expansion southward "Was only economic and not territorial. Australians were, in consequence, greatly reassured. General Hayashi, the Premier, replied that Japan had no intention of any agression in North China.
