DOMAIN CONTROL.

Nursery Site In King Edward Park. The monthly meeting of the Stratford Domain Board Was held last night. The caretaker (Mr E. P. Blanchard) reported on maintenance work carried out in Victoria and King Edward Parks. In connection with the. portion of land in King Edward Park for a nun sery, Cr. Gordon said the area was not as large as suggested by Mr J. S. McKenzie, Director of Parks and Reserves, Wellington, but he thought it was quite sufficient. It was not desirable to interfere too much with the camp site. The use of the track at Victoria Park for cycle races on Saturday afternoons during tJifc Winter was granted to the Stratford League Cycle Club.

Present were: The Mayor (Mr J. W. McMillan), Crs. A. Nelson, C. R. Finnerty, C. Speck, A. H. Trotter T. Lawson, W. P. P. Gordon, ,R. R. Curtis, R. F. Harkness and Mr H. C. Johnson
