DRIVER’S LUCKY ESCAPE
Horse Shatters Windscreen Of Car. To have the hooves cf a frightened horse shatter the windsscreen of his car, and yet escape without serious injury, was the experience this morning of Mr. T. Lawson. Stratford. The accident occurred at the corner of Olivia and Hamlet Streets, at an early hour, when the car which he driving was involved in a collision with a milkcart. In addition to the shattered windscreen, the car was badly dented on the upper part of the bonnet and on the front mudguard. One of the driving lights was smashed.
