Mr Wenzl Scholium, of Auckland, who has been staying at the Empire Hotel, left for New Plymouth this morning.
Mr It. J. Bowie, stationmaster, left by the express this morning for the South jsland on his annual leave. Tur F. J. St-phens will act at l stationmaster during his absence.
Mr T. Hodson, locomotive driver, Wanganui, has been transferred to the Stratford station, succeeding Mr A. T. Max, who has 1 resigned from the service.
Mrs Halkett and Miss M. Halkett, who have been staying with Mrs l>. Gardiner, Broadway . South, returned to Wanganui by the express this morning.
