Resumption Of Work Next Monday. Press Association —Copyright. Detroit, Feb. 12. Nearly 900 motor strikers to-day marched cheering from the three planfe they had occupied since the “sit-down” strike began. They were met at the gates by rejoicing relatives and friends. The General Motors' Corporation announced the resumption o£ the production of motors on Monday in more than 30 industrial cities. The corporation expects to he operating at capacity within 12 days. The employers have promised a pay rise of five cenlls .an hour, which, Amount in a normal year to £5,000,000. Points in the settlement of the motor strike are that the General Motors Corporation in the next six months will bargain collectively with the Automobile Workers’ Union exclusively in the 20 plants closed by the strikers, the union will evacuate the plants forthwith, all strikers will be reinstated, and. General Motors Mil withdraw the injunction against the sit-down strikers.
