To-day’s Forecast.
RAIN PROBABLE. Press Association—Copyright. Wellington, To-day. A secondary depression which was develppiing to the westward yesterday, deepened considerably last night and is now crossing the South Island. Pressure l is high over southeastern Australia, but conditions are disturbed in the tropics to the northward. The forecast is for moderate to strong westerly winds, backing lafier to southerlies, gal'e force probably at times in exposed positions; wieat'her cloudy to overcast and some rain probable; temperatures becoming cooler; seas rough.
