SCHOOL ENROLMENT

Primary Work A Guide To Secondary Career Enrolment of pupils at the Strat- ! ford Technical High School will take place at the school to-morrow and on Monday, when the principal, Mr. A. H. R. Amess, M.A., will be in attendance to interview pupils. The transition from primary to secondary school is one of the critical stages of a pupil’s education, for it is important that the secondary school training, which, unlike that of the primary school, provides a number of alternatives, should be planned from the outset with the idea of allowing the pupil to make the best use of his abilities. In advising parents the principal \ is greatly helped if he has a knowli edge of the pupil’s primary school j work. Parents should, therefore, j have the primary school record cards of their children with them when they go to interview Mr. Amess.
