Death Of Rev. Percival Waddy In England. Press Association—Copyright. (Received 1 p.m.) London, February 9. The death has occurred of the Rev. Percival Stacy Waddy, M.A., late Canon of St. George’s Cathedral, Jerusalem and Archdeacon of the Church of England in Palestine. This l famour scholar was born in Australia in 1875 and after graduating at Sydney University, went to Balliol College, Oxford, where he won various exhibitions and took__hi: M.A degree with Honours in Classical Moderations and Jurisprudence. Later he was headmaster of the King’s School, Parramatta, and served as a chaplain with the A.I.F. during the Great War.
