General Sugiynia, deputy chief of the Military General Staff, succeeds him. General Nakomura, formerly an adjutant at the War Department, has been successively commander of the ‘39th Infantry Brigade and attached to the Korean army. Prior to his 1 appointment in 1932, to command the garrison in China, he was director of the Personal Affairs Bureau at the War Department.
