CORONATION CHOIR.
New Zealanders Selected To Sing In London. Press Association —Copyright. Wellington, Last Night. If was announced by the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage, to-day that after consideration with the Associated Choral Societies of New Zealand the following would be recommended for inclusion in the coronation choir which will ting at Westminster Abbey during the coronation ceremony: Soprano, Madame Winnie Fraser (Dunedin); contralto, Miss Christina Young (Wellington); tenor., Mr Gordon Fagan (Auckland); baritone, Mr F. W. Wilson (Dunedin). In the event of the Matter of the King’s.- Music agreeing to the inclusion of a fifth voice Mr Hubert Carter, Christchurch, will be recommended. In the case of any of those selected for recommendation being unable to accept the invitation the vacancies will be filled from the following: Soprano. Miss F. White (Dunedin); contralto, Miss L. L. Corrigan (Tauranga); baritone, Mr Denis Dowling (Dunedin).
