Miss Esplin returned on Friday from New Plymouth. » • • Miss Jean Henry, who has been spending a holiday in Wellington and Napier, has returned. Mrs. Simonds returned on Friday from a visit to Auckland to see her people. • • • Mrs. G. Stanford, formerly of Stratford, was a visitor here during the week. Mrs. W. A. Mackay and Miss Shirley Mackay, who have been spending a holiday in Wellington, have returned. Mr and Mrs A. Were and Miss Norma Were, of Tauranga, who have been the guests of Mrs L. J. Rowell, left yesterday for New Plymouth. • • • Mrs Sinclair Macalister has returned from Wellington. She was the guest of her mother, Mrs. Smith, at Khandallah, and was accompanied by her son, Ewin. ... Mr and Mrs Moon, who have been holiday-making in Napier, Gisborne and the surrounding districts, returned on Saturday with Miss Evelyn Moon. • • • Misses M. Whittle, M. Malone, 8., Z. and O. Masters, and G. Madden (Wellington), who have been on a motoring tour of the North Island for the past two weeks, returned via the Ohura Gorge on Sunday, having had a delightful holiday. • • • Some of those who attended the New Plymouth races on Saturday were: Mr and Mrs D.
