WEDDING.

McDonald—Cahill. A very pretty wedding took place yesterday at 9 a.m. in the Catholic Church, when Miss Marie McDonald, eldest daughter of Mrs’ and Mr Michael McDonald, Nash Road, was nfarried to Mr Adrian Cahill, son of Mr and Mrs Cahill, Oamaru. The Rev. Father Kavanagh officiated at the Nuptial Mass. Mrs Mangan presided at the organ. Mrs C. Massey sang “Ave Maria." The bride entered the church on the arm of her father, Mr M. McDonald, looking very lovely in a beautiful angel lace gown over satin and a very beautiful veil embroidered with wedding bells. She carried a shower bouquet of lillies. Her only bridesmaid was her sister Doreen, who wore a smart pale rose sand crepe frock with brown picture hat and carried a shower' bouquet" of pink roses and maidenhair fern. Mr J. Bowler acted as best man. After the ceremony, Mr and Mrs M. McDonald entertained their guests at their residence, Nash Road. The breakfast table was artistically decorated with sweet peas, roses and ferns. Mrs M. McDonald was wearing a "chic" beige elephant crepe costume with hat to tone. She wore an autumu tinted corsage spray. The guests were: —Mr and Mrs J McDonald, Mr and Mrs T. McDonald (Ngaere), Mr and Mrs A. G. McKenzie, Mr and Mrs F. T. Hale, Mr and Mrs P. Uhlenberg (Waipuku), Mr and Mrs J. Walsh, Mr and Mrs C. Massey, Mr and Mrs P. Kovaleski, Mr and Mrs J- Norris, Mr and Mrs Lamer (Inglewood), Meedames Murphy (Wellington). M. Cooney (Auckland), P. Duffy (Hawera), Larson (Napier), Coldwill, Cussack, 11 Coldwell, Gee, O’Reilly-; the Misses P. McDonald, N. McDonald, M. Cahill, P. Bulman S. Saunders (Hawera), J. Coldwell. The couple left later for Welling ton, the bride wearing a pink ensemble with dark blue hat and ehoes. WOMEN. ye,D nC
