AUCKLAND MATCH. Taranaki Boy Scores 22 For Wellington. Auckland, Last Night. Gaining first use of a perfect wicket, Wellington set Auckland a hard task in the first day of the Plunket Shield match at Eden Park to-day. Aided by a magnifiicent innings of 190 from Moloney, the visitors completely collared the Auckland bowling to score 407 for seven wickets. Making hit' first appearance in Plunket Shield cricket, Donnelly created a highly favourable impression with crisp off-side play, but he finally played Spring 0n. —395—7-—22.
