Though still covering the North Island this morning, the anti-cyclone is now moving slowly eastward off New Zealand, and a shallow depression! is crossing the Souffr Island. By tomorirow this should have traversed most of the Dominion and £ fresh anticyclones should be approachHhs from the west. The forecast is for sligiht winds f|redhenlin|g but changing to southerl'ies to-morrow morning; weather for the most part will be fine but some scattered showi&rs probable with the wind changing; temperatures moderate to cool; seas slight to moderate.
