London Meat Shipments.

The Bank of Australasia has received the following cable from Loudon dated February 3, 1937: "Frozen lambs: Large arrivals early in last month together with increased stocks accumulated previously owing to poor demand made prices weaken, trade continued slow—it was also hhnd-iclapiftd by iitfiiieitz,a epidemic and a further small decline took place. Owing to smaller New Zealand killings in Deceniiber stocks became temporarily short and although demand only moderate market prices with upward tendency. Frozen mutton: Supplies limited and prices steady in spite of slow trade; recently there have- been more enquiries for Ewes and market firmer for these. Frozen beef: Supplies limited here and afloat 'Prices have advanced slightly, demand comparatively good.”
