Mr. S. E. Nielson Leaving New Plymouth.
i Mr. S. E. Nielson, well known in I Stratford as the secretary of the i Taranaki Rugby Unio, has disposed of j his accountancy practice at New PlyI mouth, and will leave in April to en- , ter business at Sydney. i In the 12 years since he left the ! staff of the Inglewood County Council Mr. Nielson has become a promin- ; ent figure in New Plymouth business i and public life. He was responsible 1 for the organisation of the New Plyj mouth Aero Club, of which he is secll retary, and is an executive member i of the Western Federated Flying Club, i the New Zealand Aero Club, and the I New Plymouth Airport Board. He i has made two flights across the Tasi man with the late. Air Commander ■ Sir Charles Kingsford Smith, one in Jauary, 1932, and another a year later. In addition to being secretary of the Taranaki Rugby Union during his residence in New Plymouth, he has for the past three or four years been a member of the committee of the Taranaki Jockey Club. Mr. Nielson’s practice will be taken over by Mr. Wilfrid G. Watts, who is chief accountant of the Farmers’ Co-operative Organisation Society of New Zealand, Ltd., at Hawera.
