The missing Air Force Demon bombing plane, which left Melbourne yesterday to participate in military manoeuvres in Tasmania, Is believed to be lost in Bass Strait, wheie the weather and visibility were bad. The missing men are Pilot Officer G. K. Buscombe and Sergeant W. H. Gould. The plane left Melbourne in company with another bomber yesterday and encountered bad weather. The other made a forced landing at Waratah, the crew being unhurt.
Two ’Planes Crashed In Mid-air. Press Association—Copyright. Received 2 p.m, Dakar, Feb. 3 Two planes from the French aircraft carrier Bearn, collided in midair and crashed into flames. Six of the crew were killed.
