MODERN WARFARE.
Women and Children Always First Casualties. Press Association—Copyright. London, Feb. 2. Addressing the British Commonwealth League at a luncheon Briga-dier-General F. P. Crozier said women and children were the first casualties of modern warfare. Bombing planes always get through; therefore the air force was manufacturing more of these than interceptor machines.. An aerial war over England would be such that the, army would be required to control the populace when it rioted and went mad in gas masks. He understood the half-crown masks for the public were safe, but those issued to servicemen cost 80s. apiece.
