MORE FLOOD TERRORS
HOUSES COLLAPSE.
U.S.A. DISASTER. Quarrelling Evident Among Relief Parties. Press Association—Copyright. Received 1 p.m, Montreal, Feb. S. Six thousand weary workers at Cairo spent a night of terror behind the river Sand boils burst, gleysers spouted in ifhe Streets as gas mains broke. Sidewalks subsided and houses collapsed, and all this added to the difficulty and danger of the work of attempting to keep the slowly rising waters from inundating the city. Bitterly hard work has resulted in considerable quarrelling among the men, resulting in one being shot dead.
