N.Z. COLOUR PICTURE.
Second Film Now Being Screened.
! With his first colour picture of New Zealand still being developed in America, Mr George M. Dillon, general manager for New Zealand for Warner Brothers; has embarked on a ! second venture which should also serve to make the attractions o£ the Dominion better known to people overseas. “The Long White Cloud” is to be the title of the first picture, in which 15,000 feet of scenery in both islands was filmed. The title of the second film has not yet been decided, .Mr Dillon tolfl “The Dominion” last night, but it would probably be, “Under the Long, White Cloud.” There would be a definite story running through the picture, Mr Dillon said, and one of the main oibjeicts was to give prominence to the customs and manners of the Maoris and the recreations and. activities of the people generally. So confident is Mr Dillon that New Zealand can supply not only the scenery but the artists for his picture, that he has made arrangements accordingly. He has chosen two Wellingtonianr, Mrs P. Blake and Miss Phil Vogt, to act as models in a seuence in the film calling for a display of international gowns. Mrs Blake has had experience in model work in Sydney and Miss Vogt also possesses the flair for displaying beautiful clothes faultlessly.
