Some Prominent Members Appointed.
The new Japanese Cabinet includes some prominent Nippon statesmen who are mainly from the army or navy. General Senjuro Hayashi, the son zof a samurai, was born in Ishikawa Ken in 1870. He is a graduate of the Military Staff Col and has been a Commander of Imperial Body Guards and a War Councillor. As a Military (’ommissionfer he has visited France and, as a Japanese delegate. Geneva. Recently he has been chief of the Military Inspection Board. Viscount Saito, a former Prime Minister of Japan, while following his naval career, was Vice-Minister for the Navy in 1906. He attained the rank of admiral. He has been Governor of Korea on two occasions, and is- a Privy Councillor. General Nakomnra. formerly an adjutant at the War Department, has been successively commander of the (*9th Infantry Brigade and attached 16 the Korean army. Prior to his appointment, in 1932, to command the garrison’ iiT China, he was director of the Personal Affair?. Bureau at the War Department. Mr Toyotaro Yuki has had a varied banking career. He is connected with' some large Japanese commercial. enterprises, and at present, betides Jaeing a member of the board of die Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is governor of the Industrial Bank of Japan.
