Installation Of Radio Transmitter At Embassy.

Considerable surprise was caused in British official circles by reports' that a wireless transmitter is l>eing installed in the German Embassy at London, says the Daily Herald’s diplomatic correspondent. It is pointed out that normally under British law transmitter licenses are granted only to amateurs and research workers under the strictest regulations. There are also international agreements governing the erection and use of transmitters. It is suggested that Herr von Ribbentrop. who If expected from Berlin shortly, may plend diplomatic immunity.
