BRILLIANT BOWLING
High School’s Defeat Of Nolantown. The splendid bowling performance of Anderson, who took five wickets for three runs, enabled Stratford High School to defeat Nolantown in the match at Hawera on Saturday, by 16 runs on the first innings. School’s first innings produced 69 (B. Ryburn 38 and Johnson 10). *Longstaff contributed 22 of the 53 I compiled by Nolantown. In addition jto Anderson, J. Ryburn did well, ! bowling for school, taking three wic- ' ketas for 20. i School in the second innings played out time without difficulty, making 94 for seven wickets. B. Ryburn, with 38’, gave the best performance.
