Not Addressed By Surname Only. Press Association—Copyright, Masterton, Jan. 28. Wanganui, and Palmerstoiv North Hospital Boards are not the only ones that have decided nurses should not address patients by their surnames only. The practice in the hospitals under the jurisdiction of the Wairarapa Hospital Board for years has been to use the titles Mrs. or Miss, and as far back as June 'last the board decided that male patients were entitled to Mr. When that question was discussed at the June, meeting. Several members of the board were shocked to hear that the men patients had been neglected in this manner.
