To-day’s Forecast. RAIN PROBABLE. Press Association —Copyright. Wellington ,To-day. The tropical cyclone which is of only moderate depth is now passing down the east coast of the Auckland Peninsula. The first part of the depression from the Tasman Sea has moved on to the South Island, but the second and deeper portion is still located off the south-west coast. Pressure is rising over the western Tasman. The forecast is for moderate to strong northerly winds, turning later to southerlies; weather ’cloudy to overcast and rain probable, with some heavy falls in places; seas moderate but rising; temperatures cooler tomorrow.
