SIGHT WORTH SEEING. A sight woith see.ng at the pr sent tini- is a colourful display of antirrhinums in King Edward Park. Just inside the Malone memorial entrance -ate close on 500 varieties have been planted in a circular b-J beneath an elm tree and the display makes an effective introduction to the b unties of the Park beyond. CAR OVER BANK. A car driven by Mr. J. W. Hinton, Victoria Road, Stratford. with his son, Mr. Roy Hinton (Rid Mr. K. MaeKay as passengers, went over a small bank at Te Wera on Wednesday afternoon, overturning several times. Mr. Mac Kay suffered slight concussion. Mr. Hinton, who was apparently dazzled by the sun. lost control at a bad bend on the- road. The bodywork of the car was badly damaged but after being hauled to the. road it was found that the engine was undamaged and the car was driven back to Te Wera. HOSPITAL RADIO.
