SWIMMING TEAM.

Successes At Last Night’s Hawera Meeting.

A Stratford team of 15 swimmers, including a polo team, took part in the Hawera Swimming Club meetfug last night.

Stratford took all the places in the men’s hundred yards event, Eagar (sec.) being first with a time of 33 4/ssec., Heddlck (7sec.) second and Ryan (4sec.) tlifrd. Robipson (scr.) and Wickham (3sec.) were second in their respective heats.

Miss D. Newell (3sec.) was second in the women’s hundred yards event and R. Turnbull won the senior dive. • The polo match with tho Unwera team was drawn, three all.
