Exploiting Abyssinia With Italy. Press Association—Copyright. London, January 23. The Morning Post’s Rome correspondent says that a significant move towards the exploitation of Abyssinia has been taken with the creation ot an Italo-German “East Africa Mineral Company,” with a capital of £500,000. German financiers are to contribute 49 per cent, of the capital and will supply mj>st of the technicians and specialised machinery. The Germans ha/e undertaken to restore their share of the capital to Italy at the end of five years, reserving 25 per cent, of the production for German industry. Italian circles declare that similar international cooperation is open to all who recognise Italy’s sovereignty in Abyssinia.
