T 'C.’s ALLOWANCE I A man who couldn’t live on £2,060 a ye:r allowed him by a friend was accused of “gross extravagance” by Air Registrar Parton in 'he London Baukrv.p* Court. When the man fell to debt, it was stated, tho friend paid the debts, but reduced the allowance to 14 a week — a tei of vv' at it had been. Then the man got into debt again.
