Officers Elected For Current Year. Press Association—Copyright. Rotorua, Last Night. The following officers were elected to-day for the ensuing year by the Neiw Zealand section of the Douglas Social Ci edit movement, the annual conference of which is at present in progress:— Dominion president, Captain H. M. Rushworth, M.P., vice-presidents (two from each island)', Messrs. A. C. A. Sexton, M.P. (Auckland), D. Graham (Wellington), J. E. Colchin (Christchurch), W. F. Poland (Christchurch); secretary, Mr. R. P. Graham (Wellington); editor ot the official organ, Mr. J. H. Penniket (Hamilton); auditor, Mr. G. R. Clarke (Wellington). The question regarding the movement forming a separate political party was discuss d hut on being put tc the conference it was rejected, as also was a suggestion that the movement should nominate an independent candidate in each electorate at next general election. It was finally decided that the movement should remain non-political but that members individually should be free to indulge in any political activities they saw lit.
